Occult 45- Demo (2012)
New 3-piece grindcore outfit from Philly ala Brutal Truth and Pig Destroyer, with subtle powerviolence influence. Members of a lot of bands so I'm not even trying to remember them all, and featuring our very own Johnny boy on vocals.

Jim Jefferies
The Aussie comic who's been at the forefront of the standup world and #1 in our hearts for the past few years now. His often controversial material spares no one and most importantly, is brutally honest at all costs. Add him being in a drunken stupor pretty much all the time and you have a formula for steady lolz.
I Swear to God (2010)
Alcoholocaust (2011)

Severed Head of State- Power Hazard (2007)
With Jack Control of World Burns To Death on vocals and Todd Burdette of Tragedy, His Hero Is Gone, etc. on guitar, Severed Head Of State is a supergroup of sorts, with D-beat drums blasting over eight tracks of ugly hardcore punk with crust influences. You know the deal.

Action Bronson- Contemporary Man (2012)
Another AB post so soon? Well, Bronsonlino didn't waste any time when it came to dropping new music for 2012. Here's one over a beat that uses some classics to make something contemporary...

Couldn't think of a better first post back
86 Mentality.
The best hardcore band of the 2000s.
All three seven inches.
Personally I think too many bands stay around way longer than they should. These guys did it right.
"I don't care where you grew up.
I don't care who you beat up.
I don't care when you hung out.
I don't care just shut your mouth."
Moving the necessities into the new house.
It's only fitting to kick off the new blog with a re-up of the original upload entry from the old blog.
The heaviest, filthiest, and best sludge band to ever do it.
Who am I to deny any of you.

Patrice O'Neal's first radio single.
During our hiatus (read: getting deleted) we missed out on paying tribute to Patrice. He was obviously taken way before his time, dying at the young age of 40. Subscribers to Bill Burr's podcast were given the opportunity to stream and download his first radio single played on Sirius/XM on December 5th.
We'll be doing a mass stand-up upload very soon, not only to re-up a lot of the albums from Bad Year that were lost, but to also put up some material of Patrice's, including his most recent hour long special, "Mr. P."

Deadly Reign-No End In Sight
bad boys back from the DL
From the ashes of Bad Year Media comes a new endeavor. You'll see most of the original contributors back in action, myself included. Maybe some new blood as well. Hopefully the majority of our followers and supporters can find us again. It'll be business as usual, for the most part. Give us all some time to get resituated. Thanks for your patience. Thanks for everything.
